Stephen Perkins

Operator. Advisor. Builder.

Stephen Perkins is the Founder and CEO of 4WRD Labs AI and 4WRD Advisory, based in Toronto, Canada. He has spent his career building and scaling commercial organizations across B2B SaaS, technology, and services — with direct responsibility for GTM strategy, revenue execution, and operating alignment.

Before founding 4WRD, Stephen served as General Manager for North America at Dext, where he managed a $20M P&L and led GTM functions across sales, account management, customer success, marketing, partnerships, and HR. Under his leadership, North America became the fastest-growing region globally, delivering 57% growth in H2 2023 and 105%+ net revenue retention.

Prior to Dext, Stephen was Head of Sales for North America at Q4 — a capital markets SaaS platform — where he built the sales organization during rapid growth and contributed to the company's successful IPO in 2021. During his tenure, revenue grew 80% over two years while sales cycle times were reduced to 60 days and ACV scaled to $100K+.

Earlier in his career, Stephen served as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Business Division at Samsung Electronics Canada, where he held full P&L ownership for a $200M B2B and B2C business. During his tenure he achieved 25%+ revenue growth, 500% profitability gains, and improved employee satisfaction from 60% to 93%.

Stephen founded 4WRD Advisory in 2024 to work directly with B2B SaaS leadership teams on go-to-market strategy, revenue execution, and operating alignment. 4WRD Labs AI was launched in 2025 to deliver those same diagnostic frameworks as a scalable platform — giving founders and leadership teams board-ready operating intelligence in minutes rather than months.

He currently serves as a Startup Mentor at the Toronto Business Development Centre and as Entrepreneur in Residence at Spring.
